A primary focus of ABS is providing high quality human tissues for biomedical research. However, we also provide a very wide range of animal tissues for research. These include organs and tissues from primates, rabbits, and various rat and mouse strains as well as bovine and porcine tissues. These and other animal tissues are listed in this site. Biospecimens from other animal species are also available. If a particular animal tissue is not listed, please inquire and we may be able to provide it to you.
All animal tissues are frozen in less than 5 min. from removal. Whole organs and tissue dissections are possible from most animal specifies that are listed. A specialty of ABS is to provide discrete brain dissections of brain regions such as cortex, striatum, hippocampus, and hypothalamus. Micro-dissections are also possible.
